Secret sushi spot. Great food. Great price. Great service. Not usually busy. Even on Saturday night I always get a table right away. They have good happy hour deals as well. Good for large parties.

This is probably the only sushi place I go to, but I might have to look for another place. While we were eating, we saw fish skin which shouldn't be there (if cleaned properly).
Tonight was quite a disappointment.
However, in terms of presentation and taste, it's like a 6/10. It didn't feel as fresh as the other times I ordered. -

O M G. This is one of the best sushi places I've ever been to. I've been to countless sushi restaurants and there's only a handful that I can say are worth trying. Firstly, their food tastes amazing. I ordered shishito peppers (one of the best I've ever had), spicy scallop handroll, Crazy roll, spicy tuna over crispy rice & yellowtail belly sushi. Everything was so flavorful and had their own unique taste. Most sushi places just pile on sauces to mask the flavor of the fish but you could actually taste each fish. I definitely recommend everything I ordered. I just wish they added avocado to their crispy rice/spicy tuna but I just added some eel sauce and it tasted great.
The ambiance is also very nice and modern. Their bar area is super cute. There was only one waiter which made the service a little slow and some dishes came out a bit late but it didn't affect the positive experience I had. Their prices are also very reasonable especially for the quality of food. Also, parking is right next to it which is a huge plus in my opinion. $5 after 4:30 PM though. Will definitely be returning often! -

The sushi is high quality and you won't find any of the fat and rough spots. It's literally melt in your mouth but the experience is lacking compared to quality.
We order a variety, one thing to note is that the rolls are smaller then normal and not rolled properly. All the rolls broke when picking up.
I don't think the metal dishes for soy sauce and ginger/wasabi add to anything. I eventually had to hold it still because it was clinking and rattling. Porcelain or equivalent feels more appropriate. There's also a lack of design all around. The check holders are rimmed with gold paint. In general it feels like someone had a Pinterest board and decided to use it to do the whole place.
Order to go...
Our waitress was a young Hispanic/Latino women who was super sweet and awesome.
I do look forward to seeing how the business grows and hope it survives Hillhurst because the most successful restaurants on the stretch have brand identity.
TLTR: Sushi freaking rocks! Ambience and experience are lacking as well as the wow factor to dine in. -

Do yourself a favor and skip this place and go straight to Yen Sushi, a block up. I always go there, but they were very busy so we decided to try this spot - big mistake.
This place is overpriced and the Sushi/rolls had absolutely no flavor. It honestly felt like we were eating supermarket sushi. The ONLY thing that tasted good was the spicy garlic edamame, that's all.
Coming from someone who visits SUGARFISH and several other well known omakese restaurants, this place deserves no stars... trust me.
